Katherine Rukavina

Ryerson 2012

My idea was inspired by Scott Sonna Snibbe and his work “boundary functions”. This project gave me a different outlook on personal space and how it can affected by the people around you. I took a mini photo series taken with 35 mm film to give it a nostalgic feel and to capture sincere moments among the people around me that i love and that inspire me. I created 4 videos to accompany these photos to bring them to life. One of the videos displayed is a comedic commercial that took part in creating one of the photos I chose as my final pieces. I displayed all of the videos and photos on a website and would enjoy making it live on my image arts website in the near future.
